Director of Finance & AccountingNoovo | Las Vegas, NV | Full-Time, On-Site

Noovo builds premium Class B camper vans, custom-configured for people who want life on the road with real comfort and craftsmanship. We’re growing fast and bringing financial leadership in-house.

You’ll own Noovo’s books: the general ledger, the close, inventory and cost accounting, accruals, revenue recognition, AP and AR. You’ll build Noovo’s in-house finance function from the ground up, hire and lead a small team (a Cost Accountant and an AR & AP Analyst). Outsourced and fractional partners handle routine processing, tax, and specialized entries. Judgment, strategy, analysis, and accountability sit with you.

Your first big goal: capturing a cost per vehicle build the business trusts.

The role is on site because the answers live on the production floor. When inventory doesn’t tie or a work order never closed, you’ll walk over and find out why. With a small team at the start, you’ll be hands-on while you build.

What you’ll do

  • Build and lead the in-house finance team, starting with a Cost Accountant and an AR & AP Analyst, and shape how the function grows.

  • Define the operating model with outsourced and fractional partners, set scope and quality standards, and hold them to deadlines.

  • Own the general ledger (GL), chart of accounts, and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close on a predictable published calendar, and shorten it over time.

  • Own balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, and resolve reconciling items at the source.

  • Own inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) and the costing method for build-to-order vehicles where every unit has a different configuration.

  • Reconcile Odoo inventory to the GL, including received-not-invoiced, landed cost, cutoff, and cycle counts.

  • Explain price, usage, and labor variances, and partner with operations on BOM, routing, and work order discipline.

  • Set the accrual and reserve methodology (warranty, obsolete inventory, payroll, professional fees) with documented support tested against actuals.

  • Oversee AP and AR: approve payment runs, manage deposits and collections, and keep subledgers reconciled to the GL.

  • Own cash forecasting, the annual budget, and the rolling forecast, and deliver margin analysis by model, configuration, and option package to inform pricing.

  • Partner with ownership on financial decisions and support lender, banking, and investor relationships.

  • Keep data clean across Odoo, QuickBooks Online, and Cashflow360, and fix upstream gaps in purchasing, receiving, and production reporting.

  • Establish internal controls, document policies and close procedures, manage sales/use and property tax, and keep the books audit and lender ready.
